Patrick Logan

Mr. Logan is a Senior Associate at Anderson & Shah. His practice focuses on the defense of public entities, including school boards, municipalities, business owners, and their insurers, in litigation arising out of claims related to employment, civil rights, and personal injury.
Before joining Anderson & Shah, Mr. Logan served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. He managed the Habeas Corpus Unit, which responds to collateral challenges to criminal convictions filed in state and federal court as well as other original writ and declaratory judgment actions. Prior to that, Mr. Logan was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Audrain County, Missouri. Mr. Logan has litigated cases in both state and federal trial-level courts. He has also advocated in state and federal appellate courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court, and has argued multiple cases of first impression in the Supreme Court of Missouri. In 2017, Mr. Logan was awarded the Missouri Attorney General’s “Best Brief” award.

Mr. Logan obtained his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law. He was a note and comment editor for the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law.
