Biography

Dennis Schmieder is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience litigating primarily employment matters, commercial disputes, and claims of personal injury. He routinely appears in federal and state courts throughout New Jersey representing public entities, including school boards, as well as private businesses, and individuals in cases involving harassment, discrimination, the ADEA, the ADA, wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation, free speech, and due process rights.

Dennis has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to public service by serving three years as a member of Teach for America teaching high school special education in the Mississippi Delta, serving two terms on the Springfield Township Board of Education, and serving three terms on the Springfield Township Affordable Housing Board. Dennis earned his J.D. from William and Mary Law School in 2002.
